Taking a break from Fun With Pastels. I was feeling kind of crappy today, and drawing's only cathartic if you have some idea what you're doing. Anyway, I think I'd have liked this to be a little more colourful (ie. have more red), but I'm pleased it doesn't look too static.
Oh, when you're using Photoshop, it's always a good idea to work on something at a higher resolution than you intend the finished piece to have. Even if it means enlarging all the source pictures, you'll end up with better detail between layers. Totally forgot to do that. |
