I was going to make an "I'm so uninspired right now" entry, but that's kind of overdone, so instead I'm going to bitch about Forbidden Siren.
I bought Forbidden Siren today. There's so many great things about this game; It's so, so atmospheric, the sense of character and location you get is just amazing, nearly everything's perfect really. So why on earth would Sony want to ruin all that with such horrible dubbing? I swear, one (very Japanese) character is honestly dubbed by someone with a Cockney accent. This is just wrong.
On the game's website you could hear the original Japanese voice actors. They actually sounded really great. I understand that localization can be expensive, and that this is kind of a niche game, but subtitles would have been fine. Instead we get voice acting of a par with the cast of Dragonball Z. For shame, Sony. For shame.
